Return Policy

This Return Policy applies to purchases made through Refurbly New Zealand, operated by CAMPBELLFIELD HOLDINGS LIMITED (NZBN: 9429052291548), trading as Refurbly.

Our goal is to ensure every customer receives quality products and excellent service. This policy explains how returns are managed in accordance with New Zealand consumer law.

1. Contact Us

Before returning any product, please contact our customer support team:

Please include your order number, product details and a description of the issue.

2. Return Authorisation

Returns must be authorised by Refurbly before being sent back. Unauthorised returns may be refused or returned to the sender.

Once approved, we will provide return instructions including the appropriate return address.

3. Change of Mind Returns

Subject to this policy, Refurbly may accept eligible change-of-mind returns requested within 30 days of delivery.

The product must:

  • Be unused or substantially unused
  • Be returned in its original condition
  • Include all accessories, manuals and packaging
  • Include any security seals where applicable
  • Not have been damaged after delivery

Customers are generally responsible for return shipping costs for approved change-of-mind returns. Original shipping charges may not be refundable.

A reasonable restocking fee may apply where permitted.

4. Products That Cannot Normally Be Returned for Change of Mind

Unless required by law, change-of-mind returns are generally not accepted for:

  • Software licences or digital products
  • Gift cards
  • Custom-built or customised products
  • Special-order products
  • Products damaged after delivery
  • Products showing misuse or abnormal wear
  • Items missing accessories or components
  • Products with removed serial numbers or identification labels

5. Faulty or Defective Products

If your product develops a fault or does not perform as expected, please contact Refurbly as soon as reasonably possible.

We may request:

  • Photographs
  • Video evidence
  • Troubleshooting information
  • Serial numbers
  • Proof of purchase

Where appropriate, products may be inspected, tested or assessed before determining the appropriate remedy.

6. Consumer Guarantees

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or any other applicable New Zealand legislation.

Where a product fails to meet applicable consumer guarantees, available remedies may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund
  • Another appropriate remedy permitted by law

7. Damaged During Delivery

If your order arrives damaged, please notify Refurbly as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery.

Please retain:

  • The shipping carton
  • Internal packaging
  • The courier label
  • The damaged product
  • All included accessories

Photographs of the packaging and damage help us investigate with the delivery carrier.

8. Returning Electronic Devices

Before returning any electronic device you should:

  • Back up important data
  • Factory reset the device where possible
  • Remove passwords and PINs
  • Sign out of cloud accounts
  • Disable activation locks
  • Remove SIM cards and memory cards

Refurbly is not responsible for personal information left on returned devices.

9. Return Shipping

Customers should package returned products securely to prevent transit damage.

For approved warranty or consumer guarantee claims, Refurbly will manage return shipping in accordance with applicable New Zealand law.

10. Inspection of Returned Products

Returned products may be inspected to confirm:

  • Product identity
  • Serial numbers
  • Reported faults
  • Completeness
  • Condition
  • Evidence of misuse or accidental damage

11. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are normally issued to the original payment method.

After processing, financial institutions may take approximately 3–10 business days to complete the transaction.

12. Exchanges

Where stock is available, Refurbly may offer a replacement product instead of a refund.

Replacement products may be new, refurbished or equivalent to the original product, depending on availability and the applicable legal remedy.

13. Business Customers

Business purchases may be subject to separate commercial agreements. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Refurbly may update this Return Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on our website.
